'intent / attitude'

Of course I'm learning a lot from doing this both in a content and a graphical sense. As regards the latter I've found the limitations of html to be at times stimulating (and at other times very frustrating!) - I find interesting the ability to make very long, vertical and horizontal images because it forces exploration of the page and to some degree overcomes the enforced returns of Editor/Mosaic at the same time as conveying a sense of the potential vastness of the 'net (battling file size remains a big drawback).

The net's great potential lies in its ability to enable interactivity: at present the vast majority of sites are disposable 'flyer' style places - great for a one-off visit, but which quickly become tiresome. I hope this site will function as some sort of resource and I would like to see more endeavours functioning as ongoing learning/debate areas.

I have been deliberately less interested in pursuing a single theme in great detail (for example that of the cd rom, or interactive environments like 'Crossings') than pursuing a number of themes to the point where I reach branches which I hope to explore further in the future and which I hope will elicit responses from the reader.
