setup

I hope you're running at least Netscape 1.1
because that's what I've been checking this on as I
go along - if you've got version 1.0 it's gonna look
terrible because it won't recognise background
colour commands.... I hope I've written these pages
well enough that I don't have to ask you to make
many changes to your browser preferences for
optimal viewing: good old Chicago at 12 pitch
will do fine as the font.

If you want to see the pages how I was seeing them:
In 'preferences', under 'fonts and colors':
background - click the 'file' roundel
colors - let doc override
links - custom, dark grey
followed links - custom, dark green
(the above two are just in case I missed
out on anything - I don't think the old blue rectangles are
particularly pleasing to the eye...)

text - standard pitch black

The image below signifies a random exit from my
own pages to something I've found interesting/amusing/
whatever on the 'net, but which is unrelated to the
subject of interactivity - so if you're bored click the image.....

.....alternatively, go make yourself a cup of tea
and give your eyes a rest!

the image below will take you to the next page on the
subject you're reading or back to a previous junction
point if the end of that branch has been reached. As
I haven't finished yet the no exit sign will take you to
the next page of setup.
